KOSKELA ART & MEDIA HOUSE
is a production company for cinematic documentaries, short films, art house feature films and television drama.
It was founded by Kimmo Koskela in 1986. It is one of the production companies in the independent Arts and Media Scene in Finland.
The company´s main aim is to provide an ambitious interface between the Arts and the Media.
Core activities focus on the development of new film projects, solicitations and invitations for partners to tighten co-production agreements. KOSKELA has independently produced over 20 productions on Finnish culture and art scene. Many of the productions have been supported
by Finnish Film Foundation, AVEK - Promotion Centre for Finnish Audiovisual Culture, Ministry of Education, and Arts Council of Finland.
The company has been an independent co-production partner with Finnish National TV YLE -TV1 -TV2, YLE TEEMA, MTV3 and KANAL 4, Germany. Koskela Art & Media House has various film and TV-projects in production and in development.
